If you want to use GPS, the nearest location to input is Miguel’s Pizza in Slade, Kentucky.
FROM CINCINNATI (approximately 2 hour drive):
Take I-75 South to Lexington (from Louisville Just get on 64 east)
Take I-64 East towards Winchester
Just beyond Winchester, take Exit 98 for Mountain Parkway (East toward Campton/Prestonsburg)
Take Exit 33 for Slade/Natural Bridge/Hwy 11
Turn right towards Natural Bridge State Park -about 2 miles
Look for Miguel’s Pizza and campgrounds on the left. Pass a house set back from the road and a white house close to the road.
After the driveway to the white house, there is a gravel road. Turn left here — right across the street there is a big sign that says Natural Bridge State Park.
(If you miss this road, you will see the entrance to Natural Bridge Lodge on the right. Turn around.)
On the gravel road, you will pass a couple of mail boxes and a Private Drive sign.
Go past the unpainted barn. Stay to the right and go up a steep winding hill. (Get up a little speed and you’ll be fine.) Three Waters is on the right at the top of the hill.
There’s a magnolia tree in front of the house between the house and studio, and a sign that says Three Waters Sanctuary.
Note: When you arrive at Three Waters, you will notice another sign on a Sycamore tree at the entrance saying the property is under 24-hour surveillance. This is a bogus sign to hopefully prevent anyone from breaking in when the property is vacant. There are no cameras anywhere.
